6 Lamb Opening Seven Seals

The Lord (spoken of here as the Lamb) can open and examine the sealed scroll – your conscience – and he knows every aspect of your life. He doesn’t judge and condemn you, but understands all the pressures, fears and hopes you feel, and your mistakes that make you deeply ashamed. Little wonder the overall scene appears dark, almost sinister. But your inner, secret life is in safe hands and will not be used against you – so there is rejoicing in heaven!

Begin to sense that the Lord is never out to condemn us. He is seeking to release us from negative emotions if we will but respond to Him.

This is quite an emotional passage, but if you can let go of the darkness of suspicion and doubts, you will find it reassuring to know that the Lord is doing everything possible to set you free from the many faults we all accumulate without even realising it. Think deeply about these opportunities which are offered to you. Heaven is on your side!

“I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. … I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals.”
