5 Throne in Heaven

5 Throne in Heaven
We have been through an introductory process, beginning with an assurance of God’s loving care, followed by a message that we are all a mixture of conflicting desires. Now comes the beginning of the judgment process, by which we are purified of these conflicts by means of a final separation of what causes them.
The illustration shows a God of love whose care for us is carried out through eternally true ideas – what we call the Word of God. Four animals suggest aspects of that truth, and the twenty-four elders on thrones echo how God’s truth is always exercised in a truly loving way. All who surround the throne are praising God, and the elders fall down in a spirit of worship and adoration.
When we discover and confirm to ourselves the true nature of the Divine who is at the very centre of everything, we too may experience a similar yearning to offer Him our hearts.
“At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. … ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.'”
